Right-wing activist Laura Loomer , known for spreading conspiracy theories, has claimed that former US President Joe Biden’s recent prostate cancer diagnosis confirms her earlier report from July 2024, in which she alleged he was in the “terminal stage” of an undisclosed illness.
Loomer reposted her 2024 statement alongside a new message on Sunday, arguing that Biden’s health crisis has been deliberately concealed by his team.
“I reported on Biden’s terminal illness almost a year ago,” Loomer wrote. “Terminal is 6 months to a year left to live... I suspect Biden’s treatment isn’t responding anymore, which is why the family is only now admitting he is terminally ill.”
She added, “He could die in the next 2 months,” calling the announcement a “PR strategy” to deflect attention from upcoming books exposing the alleged cover-up.
Loomer’s post from July 22, 2024, claimed that Biden suffered a “medical emergency” aboard Air Force One and that her sources in Washington confirmed he was terminal. “Everything I said is true,” she insisted at the time, noting that Air Force One is equipped with “a full medical emergency triage centre” and even “an operating room.”
Biden’s office revealed on Sunday that he has been diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer , which has metastasised to his bones.
The statement noted that the cancer has a Gleason score of 9—one of the most aggressive forms—and is hormone-sensitive, which allows for management of the disease. Biden began showing urinary symptoms, which led doctors to discover a “small nodule” on his prostate.
Though serious, experts caution against alarmist timelines. “Men whose prostate cancer has spread can live five, seven, 10 or more years,” said Dr Judd Moul of Duke University, according to The New York Times.
He added that survival rates for advanced prostate cancer have “almost tripled in the last decade.”
Still, the diagnosis has reignited criticism online. A resurfaced 2022 video of Biden saying he and many he grew up with “have cancer” has sparked renewed conspiracy theories.
Critics, including Donald Trump Jr, have accused the administration of hiding Biden’s condition for political gain.
“Advanced prostate cancer takes +10 years to develop. This is the worst cover-up in the history of the Presidency,” wrote another critic.
Despite such claims, Biden’s medical team had declared him “fit to serve” after a routine check-up in early 2024. The White House had also previously dismissed the 2022 cancer remark as a “gaffe” related to past skin cancer treatment.
Biden’s family is said to be reviewing treatment options. The former president has kept a low profile since stepping down in January after a disastrous debate performance and later endorsing Kamala Harris, who ultimately lost the election to Donald Trump.
Biden’s son Beau died of brain cancer in 2015, and Biden has led national cancer initiatives since.

Terminal is 6 months to a year left to live. There are always outliers, but I suspect Biden’s treatment isn’t responding anymore which is why the family is only now admitting he is terminally ill.
