Returning this November, the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2025 is set to become the city’s most inclusive, community-driven fitness campaign to date. With its largest-ever roster of flagship events, free classes, and global sporting tournaments, DFC 2025 invites everyone — residents and visitors alike — to commit to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days, all under the motivating theme: Find Your Challenge.
A vision born in Dubai: From local movement to global model
Launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the Dubai Fitness Challenge was created with a simple yet powerful idea: 30 minutes of activity for 30 days.
Since its inception, DFC has transformed the city every November into a living, breathing fitness arena. Participation has grown exponentially — from its early days to an impressive 2.7 million participants in 2024, a 244% increase since 2017. The initiative not only promotes healthier lifestyles but has also made fitness a cultural fixture in the city.
Now entering its ninth edition, the 2025 campaign coincides with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’, giving the challenge a stronger social dimension — one that celebrates collective well-being and human connection.
