Apple may launch three completely new colours for iPhone 18 Pro models

Apple is expected to introduce up to three new colour options for the iPhone 18 Pro models next year. With this, the Cupertino-based tech giant will continue its pattern of offering bold colour choices, as seen with the iPhone 17 Pro 's bright cosmic orange. A recent post from the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo suggests the iPhone 18 Pro could be available in brown, purple, and burgundy colours. The specific names for these shades may vary slightly depending on the translation service used. However, the Weibo post describes them as "Coffee, Purple, and Wine Red ," while Google Translate renders them as "Coffee Brown, Purple, and Burgundy," and Apple Translate shows "Coffee, Purple, and Burgundy."



The same rumour also mentioned that a black colour option "seems that there will still be no black next year." As this information comes early in the iPhone 18 rumour cycle, Apple's plans for colour options are still subject to change as the company likely continues to develop different prototypes.


Colours Apple offers with iPhone 17 Pro models

The iPhone 17 Pro comes in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, and Silver colours. For the first time in several years, there’s no black or space grey option, a change that may have disappointed some iPhone users.


The deep blue variant appears somewhat similar to black, but none of the rumoured iPhone 18 Pro colours seem likely to please users looking for a darker shade.


That said, this information should be viewed with some caution for now. More details about iPhone 18 Pro colour options are expected to surface in the months leading up to its launch next September. For the moment, users can continue to appreciate the cosmic orange finish of the iPhone 17 Pro.
