Game 4 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers was thrilling, with a captivating fourth quarter. Edwards tried to stop LeBron James and snatch the ball at a critical moment during the game. When reporters asked him about that brief physical encounter with James, he replied:
“Um yeah, it's going to be physical, man. Um, I would say I was trying to make a point, but just letting him know that we here. You like we ain't just gonna you ain't just gonna push us around all night. I mean, because I'm not going to lie, he's strong. It's hard to keep him from like he posted me up. He got all the way to the rim. I'm I was glad he missed the layup, but he he a lot stronger than me. But just letting him know that we going to be here all night and I'm going to be a pest to him whenever I get on him. I'm going try to get up under his skin.”
Recalling being on the same side as LeBron in the Team USA and how that experience enriched him, he said:
“I'm going try I mean cuz you know uh we play together USA. He was like a big brother to me. He looked out for me. um helped me out a lot with reading the game IQ and everything. So, you know, just trying to be a pest to him out there.”

“Um, I just I don't know, man. I don't I don't even really look at it like a moment. I just try to take advantage of every opportunity. I mean, cuz you know, I I I've been dreaming of this all my life, whether it was football or basketball.”
“So, just being in these situations and now it's going against Brun and Luca. And Luca probably the best player in the game, young player in the game, and Brun is the best player leaving the game. So, just trying to, you know, prove I I belong. And to all my uh haters and uh people who criticize me that I'm uh better than they think.”
