Ballari: Two members of a family from Raravi village in Siraguppa taluk lost their lives, and a boy sustained serious injuries on Tuesday after being struck by lightning while tending to their sheep. The deceased are Beerappa, 45, and Sunil, 26. Vinod, 14, has been admitted to VIMS Hospital for treatment. A case has been filed at the Siruguppa police station. The incident happened when they stood under a tree following rain while grazing their sheep.
