The new contract will pay him $775,000 in the NHL and $100,000 in the AHL. Bogdan Trineyev is becoming a trustworthy player, particularly when the team needs penalty killing or taking hard minutes.
During his inaugural full AHL year in 2023-24, Trineyev participated in 63 games with 7 assists and 9 goals. He played more games than any rookie Bears and ranked second on the team as a rookie in goals, points, and assists. His +12 plus/minus also indicated just how much of a two-way threat he proved to be on both sides of the ice.
