Anushka Sen’s work trip to South Korea has turned into a mesmerising experience as she witnessed the enchanting cherry blossoms for the second time. And this time it was even better. The actress, who is back in India now, says, “Last year, I witnessed the cherry blossoms there for the first time. Luckily, I could go this year, too, because I had a work trip. My dad was with me and we enjoyed ourselves. Next year, I plan to go there with my parents as I want my mother to enjoy this too.”
On the work front, Anushka has shot for the Korean show Crush and the film Asia. Ask her if her work in Korea has impacted her career here and she replies, “I like to focus on multiple things and I’m capable of doing that because I love what I do. I don’t think a lot about what I’m missing out on, because in life if you have that mindset, you will never be able to enjoy the opportunities that you get.”
She adds, “I feel I am representing India globally and that makes me happy. If you’re hard-working, work will come to you.”
‘I am prepared for life’s surprises’
The actress, who has been working since a young age, says she is fortunate to have had a smooth run so far. “There have been no major challenges that I have faced. Of course, in life one does go through issues, small or big, where you have to stay strong. I was seven when I started working and at that time, I didn’t know where I was headed. Then as I grew up, I got a bit nervous, but today I am at ease. I am prepared for life’s surprises. I have an optimistic mindset.”
