Shivam Khajuria, who is seen as Prem in Rajan Shahi's Anupamaa is winning hearts of the audiences with his acting skills. The young actor says acting a TV show is a team effort. He said, "Acting is all about action and reaction—it’s a team effort. Even if you’re doing a solo scene, there are many people involved, like the director, DOP, and crew. For me, the most important thing is understanding my director’s vision and being in sync with it."

He also shared that having a good bond with the co-stars helps. However, he added, "But at the end of the day, we are professionals playing characters. Once the camera rolls, you become that character, regardless of personal equations. While off-screen interactions can help, they’re not essential for acting. Gladly I have the best of equations with all my co-actors."

For Shivam, a typical day on the set of Anupamaa involves work and fun both. He said, "A typical day starts with getting ready, checking how many scenes I have, and reading the scripts waiting for me on my table."

"Then it’s all about performing, laughing, having fun banter, and—most importantly—strategising new ways to convince the scheduler to give me a later call time for the next day (which rarely works!) lol," he added.

He credits his co-stars and production team for his performance. "My performance is primarily influenced by my co-stars and director. However, having stability and a professional relationship with the production house definitely helps me as a person, which indirectly reflects in my work," Shivam ended.
