COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (Codissia) will hold the ninth edition of ‘SUBCON 2025’ -- an exhibition to connect MSMEs and larger industries -- from May 14 to 16. It will be held at the Codissia Trade Fair Complex.
Addressing reporters on Tuesday, J Sanjeevi Kumar, chairman of SUBCON 2025, said more than 225 exhibitors would participate in the event, occupying around 250 stalls.
“The Coimbatore region, home to more than two lakh MSMEs, is known for its precision engineering capabilities in machined components and sub-assemblies. It also serves as a hub for castings, forgings, and related engineering services.”
“The objective of this fair is to bring together MSMEs and large industries, including PSUs, to enable healthy networking and ensure job orders for small units,” he said.
He added that the exhibitors would include 15 PSUs, 10 large private sector industries and several financial institutions.
"The event, spread over 75,000 sq ft, is supported by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), the MSME–Technology Development Centre, the Process and Product Development Centre in Agra and FaMe TN. Participants are expected from Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Puducherry as well," he said.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from 10am to 5pm. Online registration is available on visitor.codissia.com.
