The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, UPPSC has postponed the UPPSC PCS Prelims 2024 examination. The Combined State/Senior Subordinate Services (Pvt.) Examination-2024 was earlier scheduled to be held in October. The exam now stands postponed and the new date has not been announced yet. However, the official notification reads that the exam is expected to be conducted in December. Official notice informing the same has been released on the official website of UPPSC at uppsc.up.gov.in.
The examination is likely to be conducted by December 15. UPPSC will soon release a official notification announcing the revised exam date. The preliminary examination will have two compulsory papers. Paper I will be conducted between 9.30 am and 11.30 am and Paper II will be held between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm. Candidates will be given OMR sheet and both the papers will comprise of 200 marks each. Candidates will have to secure a minimum of 33% marks to pass the exam. Candidates must know that it is compulsory to appear in both the papers, in case they fail to appear in any of the papers, they will be disqualified. Registration window for PCS exam was made active between January 1 and January 29, 2024. UPPSC conducts various recruitment exams including RO/ARO, Staff Nurse, Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services.
