As India resumed their first innings on Day 2, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Shubman Gill waited from the dressing room and were spotted in a playful mode as the Indian lower order attempted to ensure that the hosts put up a big score on the board following an incredible 199-run partnership between Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.For those unversed, Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first on the first of play on Thursday (September 19). How Did Kohli, Rohit, Gill Perform In Second Innings? Kohli and Rohit had disappointing outing with the bat in the second innings as they were dismissed for scores of 17 and 5 respectively. However, Gill is looking in solid touch and is unbeaten after making 33 runs. India have a 308-run lead at stumps on Day 2. Rishabh Pant and Gill will resumed India's innings on Saturday.
