MrBeast Hiring New CEO, Firing Senior Employees After Probe Finds 'Harassment': Report

MrBeast is reportedly hiring a new CEO for his company, firing several senior employees after an internal investigation found allegations of sexual misconduct 'between company employees and minors' are without bases. On Friday, MrBeast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, posted the findings sent to him by Alex Spiro of the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, who was investigating allegations of sexual misconduct happening at his company.Read More: “A three-month investigation into allegations regarding my company has concluded. Below are their conclusions," MrBeast wrote on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.The YouTuber shared a letter, where Spiro addressed the allegations that came up after MrBeast’s former co-host Ava Tyson was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a then-13-year-old. “Allegations of sexual misconduct (e.g., pedophilia, grooming, child pornography, etc.) between Company employees and minors are without basis. The allegations were soundly rejected, including by alleged victims,” Spiro stated in his letter.Read More: The lawyer further added that 'allegations of the Company knowingly employing individuals with proclivities or histories towards illegal or questionable legal conduct are similarly without basis'. “Several isolated instances of workplace harassment and misconduct were identified during the investigation. The company was informed of such conduct and took swift and appropriate actions to address the incidents, including, where necessary, disciplining or letting go of implicated individuals,” he added. The New York Post cited a source to report that MrBeast let go of employees from the senior executive level to middle management and individual contributors. “Individuals were let go regardless of position or tenure or seniority,” the source said, according to the report. However, no official statement has been made yet.
