Canton Shooting: Man Hospitalized After Being Shot At Arboretum Way Apartments

In Canton, police have opened an inquiry after witnesses claimed to have heard gunshots. Just before 4 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Canton Fire Department, they were called to the Arboretum Way apartments in reference to reports of a gunshot.Chief Wendell Robery said members of his crew offered medical assistance to a male victim and gave him two units of blood. After that, a Canton Fire Ambulance took the injured man to a Boston hospital where he would get medical attention. According to Canton Police Chief Helena Rafferty, the event is not a random act of violence but rather a domestic situation.Two people have been arrested.More information will be available soon.
