All About The Rosanna Pansino - Lunchly 'Mold Cheese' Controversy

YouTuber trio Logan Paul, MrBeast, and KSI's recently launched snack brand, Lunchly, is facing scrutiny after fellow YouTuber Rosanna Pansino allegedly discovered mold in one of its products. Positioned as a "healthier" alternative to Kraft Heinz’s beloved Lunchables, Lunchly has now come under fire.Pansino filmed a video comparing Lunchables to Lunchly and was shocked to find mold in the cheese portion of 'The Pizza' product. She shared a video of the mold on X, stating, "This is disgusting. I was filming a video comparing Lunchables to Lunchly and was shocked when I opened ‘The Pizza’ Lunchly. The cheese had MOLD! The expiration date was still 2 months away! I checked online and found at least a dozen other people posting that their Lunchly’s were moldy too."

In a follow-up YouTube video, Pansino explained that the products she reviewed on October 16 had a best-by date of December 4, 2024."They are supposed to be good for another two months,” she said. "This is molded. That’s mold! This is not safe, especially kids that are so young, they might not know what mold looks like so they might just eat it. This is really unhealthy, you should not eat mold. I think it’s a packaging issue, the sealant here feels really cheap. It is not vacuum-tight.”“I did not fake this. I was honestly going to go over nutritional facts and differences between the two with two physicians’ input and give you healthy alternatives to these things that are still affordable. I did not expect this,” Pansino said. The allegations sparked reactions on social media."That level of mould is hard to achive with pre grated mozarella cheese, it would take months in a fridge to achive that or these were held in transit without being chilled for days... This is so damm easy to avoid from some badic rules, completely embarrasing to Lunchly!" one person wrote on X.Another wrote, "Holy crap! That's just plain out disgusting. I wouldn't be allowing that to be near me, even with a six foot pole."
