You're in top 1% if you can spot all 16 tigers in this optical illusion

A mind-bending challenges viewers to pick out all of the hidden tigers lurking within a jungle scene.

The viral image contains 16 tigers in total, but on first glance only four are immediately visible.

The clever optical illusion was by user Hectic Nick and has raked up more than 98,000 likes as users attempt to pick out the hidden figures.

According to Hectic Nick, "it's almost impossible" to find all 16 tigers and only 1% of people will successfully be able to spot them all.

He said: "Can you find all the tigers in this image? It's almost impossible to find all of them. Let me know how many you can see and send this to a friend so they can try."

If viewers look closely at the image, they should be able to pick out the faces of some big cats lurking in the trees, rocks, branches and foliage.

Thousands of TikTok users have attempted the challenge with many taking to the comments section to admit they struggled to find all 16.

One user wrote: "Pls help me find it I only got 8."

Another said: ""The more I look... the more appear."

A third said: "I only see 15."

"I see 7, look in the tree and rock," another added.

While many users didn't manage to track all 16 tigers down, there were some people who claimed to have identified them all - with some even claiming there are more than 16 to find.

Optical illusions can supposedly reveal intriguing insights into your personality by testing your powers of observation and how you interpret an image is said to indicate whether you are more right or left-brain oriented.

Some optical illusions can be seen in different ways and it is claimed that whether we favour the left or right side of our brain can determine our personality traits.

The left side of the brain is associated with being more analytical, verbal and orderly, with people who are more left-oriented tending to be logical thinkers who pay closer attention to detail.

The right side of the brain is said to be more creative, visual and intuitive, with people who favour this side thought to be better at tasks such as reading and writing.
