WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Wednesday season 2.
Wednesday season two has revealed Xavier Thorpe's fate as the psychic student fails to make his return to Nevermore Academy in the fresh series.
Netflix viewers have been eagerly awaiting Wednesday Addams' (played by Jenna Ortega) comeback for three years, and the anticipation has finally come to an end.
During the inaugural series, Wednesday joined forces with the Night Shades to defeat Joseph Crackstone (William Houston), alongside psychic Xavier Thorpe (Percy Hynes White).
He was also portrayed as a romantic possibility for Wednesday, though her feelings remained unreturned as she harboured suspicions about him being the creature terrorising Nevermore in the opening season.
Whilst the remaining cast members have returned for Wednesday's second outing, Xavier is notably absent, with his whereabouts clarified in the opening episode.
Upon Wednesday's return to Nevermore Academy, she encounters Principal Dort (Steve Buscemi), who extends an invitation to Morticia Addams (Catherine Zeta Jones) to lead the gala fundraising committee.
Speaking about Xavier's father, Principal Dort revealed: "Vincent Thorpe chaired the last three years but after Xavier was falsely accused of murder, he pulled his son and his endorsement from Nevermore."
When Wednesday queries: "Xavier's not coming back this year", Principal Dort confirms: "He's heading to Reichenbach Academy in Switzerland."
Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier in the series, was not invited back for the second season following allegations of sexual misconduct, which he vehemently denies.
Later in the same episode, Wednesday stumbles upon a crime scene where a private investigator has been brutally murdered by a group of crows, one of which is missing an eye.
Upon returning to her dormitory, she receives a mysterious package from Xavier, delivered by Enid Sinclair (played by Emma Myers).

Enid reads out the note from Xavier: "'I tried texting but I guess you lost the phone I gave you'", followed by a flashback of Wednesday disposing of the phone in acid.
The package contains a painting created by Xavier, depicting the one-eyed crow. As Enid continues reading the note, she says: "Consider this my goodbye gift. The image suddenly flashed in my head.
"Don't ask me how I know or what it means but it's connected to you I'm sure.
"Who's Wednesday Addams without a mystery to solve, right? Xavier."
This leaves viewers intrigued about the significance of the crow and its connection to Wednesday as she returns to Nevermore.
Wednesday is available to watch on Netflix.
