Prince William and Princess Kate eye major US move on Harry and Meghan's 'turf'

The Prince and Princess of Wales are reportedly set to make a major move across the pond as they set their sights on expanding their charity in the US.

Prince William and Princess Kate have apparently completed vital paperwork in order to win the necessary approval for registering the Royal Foundation's brand from the US Patent and Trademark Office - the American agency responsible for granting patents and registering trademarks.

According to the Mail on Sunday, insiders claimed that the latest move is "further evidence" that the future Queen is "on the road to recovery" after having completed her cancer treatment.

Last year, the Royal Foundation applied for a new US trademark focusing on "campaigning" and "fundraising" linked to "mental health initiatives".

However, it was refused over technicalities and the plans lay dormant after Princess Kate's health ordeal.

Now the outlet claims the proposals have been reignited by a US lawyer acting on behalf of Kensington Palace.

The move will likely spark discussions in the Sussex camp over the Wales's possible intentions on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's home turf.

The outlet stressed that there are "no immediate plans" for the Prince and Princess of Wales to travel abroad.

William and Kate's last trip across the pond was in 2022 for the Earthshot Prize.

The outlet cited Palace sources who allegedly claimed that the trademark is "internal housekeeping" and the Royal Foundation has no immediate plans to launch a US mental health initiative.

Kensington Palace declined to comment.
