Queen Camilla will "never forgive" Prince Harry for the "extremely unkind" remarks he made about her in his bombshell memoir Spare, insiders have claimed. Released in 2023, Harry used Spare to describe his stepmother as 'evil" and "the villian".
He also claimed that he, along with Prince William, tried to convince King Charles to not marry Camilla prior to their wedding day back in 2005. The royal, who celebrated his 41st birthday yesterday, has previously shared that he would love to reconcile with his family - but the Queen, 77, may be a little harder to convince.
An insider has said: "He has been extremely unkind to her in print and in word, and she doesn't forgive easily."
Speaking to The Times, the insider said that whilst some royals may be able to forgive what Harry said, they will not forget.
They added: "The Royal Family make elephants look like they have short memories."
In his memoir, which was first released in January 2023, Harry accused her of playing the "long game, a campaign aimed at marriage and eventually the Crown".
He wrote: "I have complex feelings about gaining a step-parent who I thought had recently sacrificed me on her personal p.r. altar.

The 41-year-old, who now lives in America with Meghan Markle and their two children, also shared his first meeting with Camilla - describing it as being like an "injection".
He wrote: "Close your eyes and you won't even feel it."
It was reported that, after the release of Spare, Camilla felt "hurt" by her stepson's words - with it also leaving a deep scar on the royals.
