Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could make UK appearance for major event

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet may be royals, but they have surprisingly spent very little time in the UK. Although Prince Archie, now six, was born in the UK, he relocated with his parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Montecito in 2020 when he was less than a year old.

Princess Lilibet was then born in America just over a year after the family quit royal life and moved across the pond. Although they have visited the UK since, it is believed Archie and Lilibet, four, have spent hardly any time in their father's home country, with their last visit being in 2022.

They are also believed to have spent very little time with their royal relatives, including their grandfather King Charles.

However, this could be set to change, as Harry and Meghan's children could attend a big UK event with their parents - the Invictus Games.

In 2027, Prince Harry's Invictus Foundation is holding The Invictus Games in Birmingham.

The competition will be held from July 10 until July 17.

While Harry will no doubt attend, it is not yet known whether Meghan, Archie and Lilibet will hop across the pond with him, or whether they will stay in their Montecito home - something they tend to do on the prince's UK visits.

However, as the children will be slightly older then, it is likely they could attend this event, especially as it is in their father's home country.

Although it is believed Harry and Meghan have previously not wanted their children in the UK as a result of fears for their safety, the Duke of Sussex did hint just weeks ago that his opinion on this may have changed.

After his September visit to the UK, in which he reunited with his father for the first time since February 2024, Harry was asked by The Guardian whether he would bring Archie and Lilibet to his home country. He said: "I would. This week has definitely brought that closer."

This comment was made after Harry had a meeting with his father King Charles, in which Archie and Lilibet are likely to have been discussed.
