Pete Wicks has issued a stern warning to his co-star Jowita Przystal's new Strictly Come Dancing partner ahead of the 23rd series. The former TOWIE star - who turned his hand to podcasting in recent years - teamed up with the 2022 series winner last year. Despite the 37-year-old's struggles with ballroom, the dynamic duo made it all the way through to the live semi-finals.

As fans excitedly prepare for the next series of the BBC ballroom competition, the Staying Relevant podcast host has shared some important advice for his predecessor. In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, ahead of his collaboration with Lynx Lower Body Spray, the activist warned Jowita's next dance partner to do "whatever she says".

He told us: "Whatever she says, do because she knows exactly what she's doing. She dragged me through to the semi-finals, although I'm not entirely sure how because I was useless.

"She's just an absolute master of her craft so whoever ends up being her next partner is going to be incredibly, incredibly lucky." Pete went on to share his hopes for the star's next dance partner and revealed he would be cheering them on from the sidelines.

The TV star gushed: "[I'm hoping for] Anyone who takes the show seriously but doesn't take themselves too seriously. Anyone who's just up for learning because she's the best at what she does.

"It's a blessing to have an opportunity to kind of learn from someone who is just world-class at what they do. I've got no idea who's doing it this year but listen, whoever ends up with her is going to be very, very lucky."

The professional dancer line-up has already been confirmed, with Diane Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Downden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin.

Also joining the famous ballroom floor is Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos, Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas, Vito Coppola, and Alja Škorjanec.

As we build up to the new series, rumours have been swirling about which stars could be swapping out their presenting gigs for some ballroom shoes.

The suggested line-up cast so far includes Paul C. Brunson, Angellica Bell, Dani Dyer, Vicky Pattison, Ashley Cain, Stacey Solomon, Tom Parker Bowles, Georgia Toffolo, and Thomas Skinner.

It comes after Pete Wicks teamed up with Chloe Burrows teamed up with Lynx for their new lower body spray. Speaking about the campaign he gushed: "Smelling good shouldn't stop at your underarms.

"We've got skincare routines and haircare routines - so it makes sense to take the same care with the rest of our body. Lynx creating a product for the lower body shows how much guys' approach to looking - and smelling - good has evolved."
