M25 traffic LIVE: Major motorway at a standstill after crash

Drivers on the M25 faced traffic woes on Monday afternoon following a crash. All traffic was being temporarily held due to an accident on the notoriously busy motorway clockwise, just before J30 A282 (Lakeside / Purfleet). As traffic built up, congestion was reported to J29 (Romford).

The situation has now been cleared and traffic is back to normal.
