A former royal staffer has revealed what the Royal Family really think about Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand. The Duchess of Sussex delved into business waters this year after she launched her highly anticipated brand, As Ever.
Since April, Meghan has made three launches, which included various products from fruit spreads, honey, cookie mixes, teas and most recently wine. Prince Harry's wife has also started being increasingly more active on social media, after returning to Instagram last January, with many royal watchers dubbing the move a shift into influencer terriroty. Now a former royal staffer has given his sights on Meghan's recent shift and even claimed how her brand will unfold.
Paul Burrell, Princess Diana's former butler, said on behalf of Casino Org: "I think they're amused by it.
"I think the Royal Family and we [the public] on this side of the Atlantic are all amused by it."
But Mr Burrell warned that this is only the "beginning" as he suggested Meghan will further expand her business empire in the future.
He said: "Make no mistake, she will go into fashion, into jewellery, maybe have her own perfume.
"'You, too, can smell like Meghan Markle.' I wonder what that would be like?"
Meghan has previously revealed she wants to "explore" fashion as a potential next step for As Ever.
She told SPANX founder Sara Blakely on the final episode of her own podcast series, Confessions of a Female Founder: "The category of fashion is something I will explore at a later date, because I do think that's an interesting space for me."
