British tourists have vowed never to visit again due to soaring costs. A user has warned tourists against visiting Antalya "unless they want to be skint".

While major cities like Antalya, the fifth-most populous city in Turkey, typically have higher costs than smaller cities, prices within the nation don't differ significantly.
As reported by , a man known as Tez on TikTok has told people it's wise to avoid Antalya. A number of people replied to share their similar experiences of visiting Turkey.
One replied: "I went there last year, all inclusive. Still spent £2,000 - never again!" Another wrote: "We stopped at the shop on the way from the hotel to the airport. Ordered two kebabs and two drinks - they charged me £52."
A third said: "Turkey is so expensive now. I went to Marmaris. I will never go to Turkey again."
A fourth fumed: "Won't be going back to Side. Nearly £1,3000 spent between two people for five days and that was doing no excursions, having two meals a day and barely drinking."
However, other people disagree with the claims. They explained that it depends on where you visit, and there are still some cheaper areas of the city.
One person said: "Still cheaper than the UK." A second added: "I disagree. I live here, and Antalya is a huge place. Again, depends where you go. We live here and don't spend crazy money at all."
The cost of living index for Turkey is currently 37.4, which takes into account factors such as housing, food and transportation. For comparison, London has a cost of living index of 81.4.
If you choose to eat in restaurants every day, it would cost you more in major cities. The Turkish public transport system still offers affordable prices and is fairly reliable. Domestic flights are also affordable.
The average monthly budget for a single person in Turkey is €970. By contrast, a family of four requires a monthly budget of around €2,800.
These estimates are based on the largest expenses associated with living in Turkey, namely rent, shopping, transportation, healthcare, and leisure.
