Mercedes-Benz launches new E-Class luxury sedan in India

Mercedes-Benz has launched the new generation of its best-selling luxury sedan E-Class in India. The starting price of this new E-Class is Rs 78.5 lakh. New technology and many new features have been incorporated in this car, which make it even more attractive.

New design and features

Talking about the design of the new E-Class, it has a new grille and flush door handles. Apart from this, new LED headlights and taillights give it a new look. There is a superscreen inside the car, in which two screens have been added. Along with this, an additional digital driver display is also available, which makes driving even easier.

Choice of engines

India is the only market where the new sixth generation E-Class is available in LWB (long wheelbase) and RHD (right-hand drive) formats. It has been launched in three versions, which include two petrol and one diesel engine. The new E-Class has a choice of 2.0-liter turbo-petrol and diesel engines, which are paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. Both engines are also offered with a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Great on-board features

The new E-Class also comes with a number of great features. It has a selfie camera and various on-board apps, making it work like a mobile boardroom. The car also has features like electric thigh support, sunblinds, and a wireless charger.

There is a Hyperscreen with MBUX system on the centre console, which also gets a 17-speaker Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos support.
