A tragic event took place on a Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus on Wednesday when driver Kiran Kumar, 40, suffered a fatal heart attack while driving from Nelamangala to Dasanapura. CCTV footage circulating on social media captured the moment Kumar collapsed at the wheel, causing the bus to continue moving without a driver until it collided with another BMTC bus.

Conductor Obalesh quickly sprang into action, taking control of the bus and safely bringing it to a stop. After halting the vehicle, he rushed Kumar to a nearby hospital, where doctors sadly confirmed that Kumar had passed away. BMTC officials reported that Kumar was on duty, driving bus number KA 57 F-4007 on route 256 M/1, during its final trip of the day.
