Triumph has launched its flagship supernaked bike, the 2025 Speed Triple 1200 RS in India at a price of just under Rs 20.5 lakh (ex-showroom). This price is about Rs 2.44 lakh more than the previous model. But with this increased price, the company has made many new mechanical and electronic upgrades to the bike, which further improve the riding experience. Despite this, this bike is still cheaper than European rivals like the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and KTM 1390 Super Duke R.

2025 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS: Engine Power and Specifications
The bike has the same 1160cc inline triple engine. But this time it generates 183 bhp of power and 128 Nm of torque. That is, it has increased by 3 bhp and 3 Nm compared to the previous model. This improvement has been made possible by installing a new, more open and free-flow exhaust system. The weight of the bike has now increased by 1 kg to 199 kg, but due to lighter alloy wheels and engine power, it will not affect the performance.

The overall design of the bike has been kept the same, sharp and aggressive, but Triumph has added some new color options this time, which has increased its visual appeal even more. Now customers can choose from three color schemes - an all-black sleek look, a sporty combination of gray and red, and a third gray color with yellow highlights. Also, new alloy wheels have been installed, which are lighter than the previous model. This further improves the handling of the bike.

The biggest upgrade in the 2025 model has been done in its electronic technology. Now, wheelie control (prevention of rear wheel lift) has been separated from traction control. This gives experienced riders a chance for more customization. For the first time, a steering damper has also been installed in the bike, which makes the bike more stable at high speeds or in tight turns.

Apart from this, the Ohlins suspension system has also been upgraded to new EC3 electronic units. Which allows adjusting suspension settings on-the-fly i.e., even while moving. These are more accurate and comfortable than before for Indian roads.

The new model now has Pirelli Supercorsa V3 tires installed. Which will replace the earlier Metzeler Racetec RR tires. Although the tyre sizes have been kept the same - 120/70-ZR17 at the front and 190/55-ZR17 at the rear - the new tyres promise better grip and great performance on the track as well.
