Fans of The Traitors have gone wild for the first look at the celebrity spin off version of the show. TV fans tuning in to watch Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night were treated to the first teaser trailer for the show.
After watching stars like Alex Kingston and Vicky Pattison pair up with their dance professional partners for the 2025 season of Strictly, the BBC then shared a trailer for the first ever season of The Celebrity Traitors. Not only were fans able to see the cast sat around the infamous Traitors table, but they also learned the launch date of the show.
And it is very soon indeed - with just over two weeks until the star-studded version of the show begins. The cast includes presenter Stephen Fry, comedian Joe Wilkinson and diver Tom Daly - who were warned they might be murdered on the show.

The short teaser showed host Claudia Winkleman slowly stalking around the meeting room, warning the celebrities that there were traitors among them. And she then warned that some of them would be killed off - which would end their time on the show.
But the trailer also revealed when the news series would start - with the first episode set to air on Wednesday 8 October. The news thrilled fans of the traditional version of the series.
One excited fan wrote on X: "Oh the celebrity Traitors trailer looks good!" And another commented: "Celebrity Traitors tralier! and confrimed for Wednesday 8th October!" alongside a gif of Janice from Friends exclaiming "Oh My God!"
Another fan typed: "SO EXCITED FOR CELEB TRAITORS." And another fan ambitiously typed: "CELEBRITY TRAITORS TEASER!!! Please give us a Tom Daley shower scene."
A statement was subsequently released by the BBC giving more details about the new show - including the fact that the launch episode will be extra long.
A statement declared: "The multi-award-winning hit psychological game format will launch its first celebrity series with an extra-long first episode, as fans will be treated to 70 minutes of treachery. The series will air two nights a week, on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 9pm."
The statement continued: "The brand new trail showed the star-studded celebrity cast seated around the iconic Roundtable for the first time."
Outlining the cast, the statement recounted: "Joining Claudia in the Scottish Highlands for The Celebrity Traitors are: Alan Carr, Cat Burns, Celia Imrie, Charlotte Church, Clare Balding, David Olusoga, Joe Marler, Joe Wilkinson, Jonathan Ross, Kate Garraway, Lucy Beaumont, Mark Bonnar, Nick Mohammed, Niko Omilana, Paloma Faith, Ruth Codd, Stephen Fry, Tameka Empson and Tom Daley."
While members of the public take part in the series to win life changing money for themselves, the celebs will be playing for good causes.
The statement explained: "The celebrities will play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning a cash prize up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice."
The statement also confirmed that the series will be accompanied by Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked - the companion show that airs on BBC Two straight after the main show. The statement teased: "Host Ed Gamble will be joined by the celebrities and players from previous series to analyse and react to developments in the castle."
