A mum "who adored animals" tragically died after falling from a young she had recently bought and had "teething issues". Louise Goudman, 40, was injured following the while riding Bobby on Friday, May 2, and died three days later.
"She died doing something that she loved. She adored and wouldn’t have blamed her young horse, even with his flaws, whom she had only known a couple of months," said her partner Malcolm Cameron. South Cathkin Farm, in Rutherglen, shared their devastation on social media and described Louise as a "lovely client".
The South Lanarkshire farm said Louise had been having "teething issues" after purchasing the horse a couple of months ago, and that they were trying to help her "iron them out".

It wrote on social media: "It is with great sadness that we lost one of our lovely clients Louise Goudman who had been livery with us a few years back then recently purchased her new horse Bobby a couple of months ago.
"Louise was having teething issues with Bobby and we were trying our best to iron them out. Unfortunately she took a bad fall on Friday 2 May and never regained consciousness. She sadly passed away on Monday 5 May."
The team at the farm added: "We are all devastated for Louise’s family here at South Cathkin especially having a young family losing their mother. Please feel free to read her story and make a donation to the Just Giving charity that the family have set up."
Bobby will be looked after by Our Children's Trust, a charity which provides therapy for families affected by trauma and grief.
Malcolm has set up a JustGiving page to help pay for the horse's upkeep. It has so far raised over £3,000 of its £10,000 target.
The fundraiser reads: "We deliberated long and hard what was the best Louise friendly thing to do, whilst morally knowing no one can ride Bobby again.
"We don’t want anyone to be put through the heart ache of having their loved one wrenched from their lives in such an unexpected and sudden way.
"This charity that rescue and re-house horses best meet our needs and have kindly agreed to look after Bobby."
Tributes have come flooding in for Louise, with one person writing: "I had the privilege to work with Louise over the last couple of years and we are all heartbroken over her loss and the impact on her lovely family. Always in our hearts and prayers."
Another said: "What an absolutely awful tragedy. I have very fond memories of riding with Louise, she was a fabulous woman." A third added: "How very sad."
