Stefan Bajcetic has offered an update on his return from injury after the Liverpool midfielder underwent hamstring surgery earlier this summer. The 20 year old midfielder's season was cut short due to the injury he sustained while on loan at Las Palmas in May.
As a result of his injury, Bajcetic missed both the entirety of Liverpool's pre-season and the Under-21s European Championships. He has been continuing his rehab at the Reds' AXA Training Centre in Kirkby throughout the summer.
Recently, the Spaniard has stepped up his recovery efforts, as he was spotted training alone with a ball during the September international break.

Bajcetic has now hinted that he is closing in on a return on Instagram, posting a picture of himself at the club's training ground with the caption: "Counting the days."
Liverpool have been cautious with Bajcetic, who has had several significant injuries since making his first-team debut under Jurgen Klopp in 2022.
Under-21s manager Rob Page recently suggested that Bajcetic could soon make his comeback for Liverpool's second string.

"It is a possibility, isn't it?" he told reporters. "It is about getting him back on the grass.
"It's about exposing him to minutes to get him back to full fitness."
Bajcetic is available for Premier League duty with Liverpool this campaign and can also feature in the Champions League with the Spaniard eligible to be added to 'List B'.
The Spain Under-21 ace burst onto the first-team scene during the 2022/23 campaign but has turned out for Liverpool just three times since March 2023 - most recently appearing in May 2024.
