If you’re on the lookout for a new coat that’ll see you right through autumn and winter and into spring, then Helen Skelton’s latest range with Go Outdoors is the place to shop. The TV presenter is known for her love of the great outdoors, and this marks another great collection with the outdoor brand.
As part of her latest range, there are a whole host of new colours for the brand’s Peter Storm Women's Blisco III Hooded Jacket which Helen is a huge fan of and wears frequently. There are now 14 different colours to choose from, with Helen modelling several different versions in the campaign.

The Blisco III Hooded Jacket is priced at £40, which is already an affordable price for a great autumn/winter jacket. However Go Outdoors members can currently get it for just £15, and to become a Go Outdoors member it costs just £5 to sign up for a year, meaning you could snap it up for just £20.
Helen’s jacket is filled with heat-retaining continuous-filament insulation, which keeps it ultra lightweight whilst still being warm and cosy. The lining doesn’t restrict movement, which means you can layer it up and wear it whilst doing everything from hiking to dog walking.

It has elasticated cuffs and hems which give it a tight seal to stop heat from escaping whilst it's cold and windy. And whilst it’s not going to keep you dry in a torrential downpour, the Blisco III Hooded Jacket does have a shower resistant coating which’ll stave off those brief showers.
If you do want something that’s completely waterproof, the Women's Deluge Pro 3.0 Insulated Waterproof Jacket from Berghaus is £170 and is both waterproof and insulated to keep you warm and dry in all weathers. Meanwhile at Regatta, the Women's Birchdale II Waterproof Jacket is currently on sale down from £100 to £50.
The Blisco III Hooded Jacket also has a hood and two hand warmer pockets to keep your hands cosy when the cold sets in. The jacket even has an internal zip guard, which stops the fastening from catching on layers or jumpers when you’re trying to fasten it up. You can pick up the jacket in sizes eight to 22, and a choice of different colours.

Whilst the Blisco III Hooded Jacket doesn’t have any reviews yet, the earlier model, the Blisco II jacket does have great reviews from shoppers, with one saying: “Worn frequently on hikes. Squashes up easily into a rucksack and weighs almost nothing. Worn in all weathers, warm, great for cold days on the hills. Worn in showers and dries quickly. Great value!”
Another said: “Bought in the black Friday sale. Far exceeded my expectations. Very light but still really warm, AND a massive plus for me, the hood is the right size. Brilliant price, would recommend to anyone.”
Although one did say: “Bought this coat today, order a size up from what I usually wear but it was too small. Had to go another size up which is 2 sizes bigger than my normal size.”
