That stretches across Los Santos, with bonus XP and $ available when players engage in Payphone Hits and Condemned games, as well as offering them the chance to pick up the new Albany Fränken Stange vehicle in The Cargo Ship Robbery. What has compelled players the most, though, is the chance of bagging some freebies.
GTA Online players have been given the opportunity to earn some spooky new masks, as well as a whopping GTA$ prize if they participate in a new event. How to unlock GTA Online Goat MasksTo unlock the GTA Online Goat Masks, there are two steps to complete to make sure you can earn both the Black Demon Goat Mask and Red Demon Ghost Mask, but to earn either, it’s worth noting that the GTA Online website suggests that you only complete the objectives “through October 9.”
It’s a vague way to put it, but as one of the rewards is tied to weekly challenges, it’s safe to presume that both of these unlocks will be removed from the game when they change at around 10am BST / 5am EDT / 2am EDT on Thursday, October 10. This is when GTA Online weekly challenges tend to roll over, but they could be slightly before or ahead of schedule according to Rockstar’s discretion, when looking at previous weeks. This means you have less than 24 hours to complete these steps before the masks and rewards become unavailable, so you might want to be quick about it.
To earn the Black Demon Goat Mask, all you have to do is log into the game before the cut-off date, which makes for a nice change from the more substantial steps it takes to earn the Red Demon Goat Mask. To bag the rarer cosmetic, you’ll need to take part in any two Arena War mode games to complete the Weekly Challenge, giving you the mask for free as well as the standard GTA$100,000.
They’re relatively simple steps, but the remaining time limit could make for something of a scramble. Get to work now if you want to be prepared for the rest of the spooky season.
