Emmerdale's Dawn Taylor's grim fate 'sealed' in 'killer child twist'

Some viewers are predicting a dark fate for Dawn Taylor on the soap after her split from Billy Fletcher.

The character faced heartache in the past year following her baby son Evan's leukaemia diagnosis, to her dad Will Taylor's death and the brief visit from her mother Rose Jackson which didn't end well. In recent weeks we have seen her grow closer to villain Joe Tate, resulting in an affair.

Dawn was prepared to end her marriage to be with Joe recently, and made the sad decision to dump a heartbroken Billy. But things have not exactly worked out with Joe, with their fling still under wraps for now.

But with Dawn making herself public enemy number one and the horrifying truth no doubt expected to come out, some viewers think it could be the end of the road for the character. Fans are questioning if a sinister twist lies in store for Dawn and whether she might be killed off.

Fans think chaos may ensue when her betrayal comes to light, and that she could end up dying. Not only that but a dark theory from multiple fans suggests her adopted daughter Clemmie might accidentally cause her death in a killer child twist.

Viewers are wondering whether Dawn and Joe will plot to run away together. They also questioned whether someone, say Clemmie, could find out and tragedy might hit Home Farm.

Several fans think Clemmie may accidentally hurt Dawn after learning the truth. One theory read on social media: "Clemmie is gonna catch them run away then Dawn will chase her and Clemmy will do something and Dawn will die."

Another dan said: "I reckon Clemmie [will kill her]." Others thought Joe could accidentally cause her death though, with one writing: "Joe could kill her," as another said: "Kim or Joe."

A further theory suggested Dawn might not die, but child Clemmie might still turn killer. They wondered if it could be Joe instead who is killed off after a run-in with the youngster.

A theory suggested: "Maybe Clemmie lashes out because Joe is breaking up her new family. We can then have months of Billy and Dawn looking dodgy and having suspicious conversations before we find out they’re trying to protect their child."

Another fan echoed this theory by saying: "I can’t see Clemmie deliberately killing Joe, but lashing out so that he falls downstairs or something?" Another comment read: "I think Clemmie will make Evan sick and also see Joe with Dawn, then target Joe for revenge."

Meanwhile in recent scenes Billy was seen accusing Dawn of having an affair, but he got the wrong guy. Dawn denied anything was going on with another man, as Billy got into a fight with Ross Barton after believing he was the mystery guy.

So how will Billy react if he finds out he was right all along, and that it was Joe who Dawn was seeing?
