Approximately 100 Djurgarden supporters breached the segregation at Stamford Bridge after entering via the end before their UEFA Conference League semi-final. And more than 1,000 other Swedish visitors congregated together in two different sections of the West Stand that is ordinarily among the most expensive seats for home supporters.
Before the game Djurgarden fans were corralled outside the turnstile entrances at Stamford Bridge by Met Police officers and were only to allowed to advance towards the entrances in small groups.
But approximately half an hour before kick-off, Swedes who had entered the home end were seen jumping over and crawling under the blue mesh netting that was in place to separate fans of both clubs.
And when the game got underway fans of Djurgarden rose en masse in the Westview area of the Bridge, with chants of “F*** you, f*** you Chelsea” ringing out from both sides of the stadium simultaneously.

As the first half progressed, an increased security presence developed in that area of the ground with a second line of segregation put in place. In the away end, meanwhile, police dressed in riot gear appeared to stop any other fans from crossing the divide.
Enzo Maresca’s giants won the first leg 4-1 and looked almost certain to reach the final in Wroclaw later this month, where they will face either Real Betis or Fiorentina.
And after a slow start on the pitch Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall put Chelsea in front with a left-footed strike that went in off the post six minutes before the interval.
Head coach Maresca made a host of changes to his team with the tie all but won and his attention will immediately shift to Sunday's trip to St James' Park with a spot in next season's still on the line.
Chelsea then welcome to the Bridge for the final home game of the campaign on Friday week before wrapping up with a trip to on May 25, with Forest still potentially battling for a place in the top five.
