The 32-year-old rapper said she has been in hospital due to the health issue and, as a result, has had to withdraw from ONE MusicFest 2024 at Piedmont Park in Atlanta this weekend.
But, writing on X, Cardi B admitted it "breaks her heart" to make the decision days before the event. She posted: "I am so sad to share this news, but I've been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last couple of days and I won't be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.
"It breaks my heart that I won't get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang - thank you for understanding and I'll be back better and stronger soon. Don't worry. Love yall."

The songwriter, born in New York City, had hoped to wow her fans at the event, where she was billed as a headline act alongside the likes of Earth, Wind and Fire, Ari Lennox and Young Nudy.
ONE MusicFest encouraged fans to uplift Cardi B in prayer and suggested they'll be scrambling for a replacement ahead of Saturday's opening performances.
The rapper's cancellation comes after she spoke about wishing "the worst" on her former husband, Offset, with whom she shares three children, in a series of since-deleted X posts.
Cardi said: "Bro I wish the worst on this man ... I never hated somebody soooo much and these bitches be so thirty [sic] to have him... Please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is too heavy!!"
