Billy the Kid season 3 trailer, release date and episode count as finale gets first look

Billy The Kid is coming back to MGM+ for a final season which will take place following the end of the Lincoln County War.

Some first-look stills from episode one have been shared ahead of the show's release and it will see Billy the Kid and Sheriff Pat Garrett both resolve important issues.

While Billy is still at large, Garrett is on a mission to capture him, dead or alive.

The synopsis continues: "With a bounty on his head, Billy has the opportunity to quit New Mexico altogether and pursue a future with Dulcinea, the love of his life."

When is Billy the Kid season 3 out?

Billy the Kid season three premieres on September 28 on MGM+ in the UK.

The entire first season is also be available to stream for free until this date in both the UK and Italy.

Episodes will be released weekly up until the finale on November 23.
