There are so many animals in desperate need of new homes, so to help out, a rescue shelter came up with a unique approach to catch the eye of potential owners. The Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, in Colorado, America, claims their dogs know where your 'future husband' is and have made a promise to keep you company until they arrive.
Their adorable Instagram post reads: "If you’re out here asking, 'Where the heck is my husband?' Like Raye… Girl, we don’t know... This is an animal shelter. (But we did make some solid, educated guesses). What we do know? Your future dog is ready to move in today. No ring required, just snacks, cuddles, and endless unconditional love. Come meet them at our Colorado Springs and Pueblo shelters."
Sharing a picture of a dog called Pudding Pop, they posted: "If you're looking for your future husband, he is currently putting together IKEA furniture without reading the instructions and questioning all of his life choices. He will be ready for you in 1 to 2 years. Adopt Pudding Pop, he's ready to go home with your today."

In an advert about Little Kevin, they said: "If you're looking for your future husband, he is trying to start a conga line in a quiet bar. He will be ready for you in 6 to 12 months. Adopt Little Kevin, he's ready to go home with you today."
Impressed by the unique idea, one Instagram user said: "This is the best thing I have seen in a long time. God Grant me a homestead with all of my single girlfriends so we can adopt each one of these dogs!"
Another user added: "This is the greatest animal adoption campaign there has ever been. It’s perfect." A third user said: "These are hilarious!" Another user said: "The greatest adoption post ever!" A final user said: "This marketing is 100/10. Your besties are waiting."
The Humane Society has made it their mission to rehome unwanted animals to new owners, improving each of their lives for the better.
A statement reads: "Adopting an animal is a fulfilling experience. It is a lifetime commitment between you and your new furry friend and one that changes the life of the pet and the adopter.
"When you choose to adopt, you make room in the shelter for another homeless pet to find their new family.
"Dogs and cats are the most common pets found at Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, but there are a wide variety of other animals – hamsters, guinea pigs, horses, goats, birds, snakes, iguanas, fish, turtles, rabbits – often available for adoption.
"Most animals that come to the shelter are either pets relinquished by their owners or stray animals."
