This unfortunate incident happened in Mahalaxmi Nagar area. According to the initial information , the girls who died were identified as Diksha Jadon and Lakshmi Tomar. Both of them were returning home after seeing the fair. At that time , a speeding BMW car coming from the opposite direction hit their scooter head-on. The collision was so severe that there was no chance of survival for the girls. But instead of stopping and helping the injured girls, the car driver fled leaving the car abandoned some distance away from the spot. However, the police soon arrested him.
A tragic incident happened in Mahalaxmi NagarPolice investigation revealed that the accused boy named Gajendra Pratap Singh was carrying a cake to celebrate his boss's birthday. He was in a hurry and was driving in the wrong direction , due to which this accident happened. According to the police , the accused had recently bought a second-hand BMW car , and he works in a US task company. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, police station in-charge Manoj Sendhav immediately sent a police team to the spot and started action.
Accused arrested, case of culpable homicide registeredA case was registered against the accused under sections of culpable homicide ( Section 304) . The police arrested the accused and sent him to jail and is investigating the matter further. Detailed information about all aspects of the incident is being collected. But this incident has created an atmosphere of mourning and anger in the entire area. People are demanding strict action against those who drive at high speed and in the wrong direction on the roads. At the same time , the police have appealed to the people to maintain patience and cooperate in the legal process.
