Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians continued their upward trend in IPL 2025 as they registered their fourth consecutive win in the season, defeating the SunRisers by seven wickets. Although Pandya went slightly expensive with the ball, conceding 31 runs in his three overs, the Baroda-born cricketer picked up the crucial wicket of Aniket Verma.
Although Henrich Klaasen scored a fighting 71 to rescue the SunRisers from a top-order collapse to set the Mumbai Indians 144, the total was hardly enough. Rohit Sharma led their batting effort with a 46-ball 70, while Suryakumar Yadav chipped in with a brisk 40 to help the five-time champions seal victory.
