Heaviness or pain in the head
Dizziness
Blurred vision
Nervousness or restlessness
Feeling tired
Rapid heartbeat or
In severe cases, nose bleeding.
How to control high blood pressure?
Regarding this, Dr. Pankaj says, when BP increases, you can include some special things in your diet to control it. These things help in balancing blood pressure in the body naturally.
Number 1 - Pomegranate
The doctor says, 'Pomegranate is rich in antioxidants and polyphenols, which help in keeping the blood arteries clean and reduce blood pressure. When BP increases, you can consume a pomegranate. Along with this, you can drink pomegranate juice made at home every day. However, the juice should be fresh, and no sugar should be added to it.
Number 2- Green Tea
If your BP suddenly increases, you can drink a cup of green tea. The element catechin present in green tea relaxes the blood vessels in the body and improves blood circulation. It also reduces stress, which is a major cause of high BP.
Number 3- Pumpkin seeds
Apart from all these, doctors recommend eating pumpkin seeds when BP increases. These seeds contain good amounts of magnesium, potassium and healthy fats. They help in expanding the blood vessels and reducing blood pressure. You can roast them and eat them as a snack.
Dr Pankaj says, these three things help in controlling BP. However, if you are feeling more restless or your BP is very high, then it becomes necessary to consult a doctor immediately without delay.
