The liver plays an important role in the proper use of vitamin D, and drinking alcohol affects the functioning of the liver, which reduces the absorption of other nutrients, including vitamin D.
Caffeine
Caffeine also prevents the body from absorbing vitamin D. Although the phenyl found in tea and coffee is generally safe, drinking too much coffee or tea can interfere with the absorption of vitamin D. So if you regularly drink several cups of coffee or strong tea, keep a gap while taking vitamin D supplements so that the body can absorb vitamin D better.
High oxalate foods
High oxalate foods like spinach and beetroot leaves reduce calcium. Since vitamin D works together with calcium to strengthen bones, low calcium indirectly affects vitamin D levels. This does not mean that you should stop eating them. Just do not eat them with foods that are rich in vitamin D or calcium.

Low-fat diet
Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, which means that your body needs some fat to absorb it properly. Therefore, eating a very low-fat diet or foods without any fat may make it difficult for the body to absorb and use vitamin D.
