Due to the age gap, appearances and camaraderie in general, these relationships catch a lot of eyeballs. But why are more and more younger women opting to date older men?
Well, as per the recent dating trends and hot goss on TikTok, it seems Gen Z women have warmed up to the idea of "age is just a number"
Quoting the finale of HBO's popular series White Lotus, an 18-year-old Olivia told the New York Post how "I totally get why Chelsea was with Rick and chose him over Saxon. Rick was concerned with bigger things, and Chelsea believed they were soulmates. The age gap didn’t matter to her, and I totally get that!”

Gen Z women are more outspoken and progressive when it comes to dating. With more Gen Z men choosing conservatism, they are unable to find like-minded men and thus are heading for the higher age group of men, who are not a part of the current manosphere.
According to the dating app Bumble, 63% of users reported they are comfortable dating outside their age group.

This is nothing new. Young adult women have always preferred older men because of the experience they bring to the table. And older men obviously prefer dating younger women.
