Helmed by director Shawn Levy, the film shattered box office records, achieving remarkable financial success both domestically and internationally. In India, Deadpool & Wolverine accumulated an impressive Rs 66.15 crore during its opening weekend. It started strong with Rs 21 crore on Friday, surged to Rs 22.65 crore on Saturday, and experienced a slight decline to Rs 22.50 crore on Sunday.

In North America, the film achieved an astonishing $205 million in its opening weekend, marking the highest earnings for any R-rated film in history. This figure eclipsed the previous record held by Joker, which premiered in 2019 and ultimately grossed over $1 billion worldwide.

Deadpool & Wolverine is emerging as a monumental success, thriving in cinemas and now on streaming platforms, ensuring that Marvel enthusiasts around the globe won't have to wait long to enjoy this latest blockbuster. In India, Deadpool & Wolverine has excelled, amassing Rs 129.20 crore within its first 19 days. The film's blend of humor, thrilling action, and the return of beloved characters such as Wolverine has played a significant role in its success across various markets.

The film marks the first time both Deadpool and Wolverine appear together within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After Disney acquired 21st Century Fox, the ownership rights to both characters were handed over to Marvel Studios, allowing these beloved antiheroes to be formally integrated into the MCU. Before this event, Fox had produced two separate Deadpool films featuring Ryan Reynolds, both of which experienced great success at the box office.
