There is no doubt that the Mumbai Indians (MI) are one of the most successful teams in the (IPL), with five titles to their name. However, this season has not started well for the Boys in Blue, led by Hardik Pandya, who are currently seventh on the points table with a couple of wins and four losses from their six matches.

Despite the thrilling victory over the Delhi Capitals in a high-scoring battle, there are still some big matches to look forward to in the competition. With only four points on the board, the next three games will be very important for the franchise. These fixtures could prove to be make-or-break moments for the team, especially considering the opponents they will be facing.

This will be the next game for the Mumbai Indians, to be played at their home ground. The Sunrisers Hyderabad have just pulled off a high-scoring chase against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) and will be high on confidence heading into this fixture. The Orange Army, under the leadership of , are also in a similar position on the table and will be looking to win convincingly, making it a tough battle for both sides.

Things might look tough for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), but it is still not impossible for them to make a comeback in the tournament. The CSK team, now being led by , has nothing to lose in their final seven matches, and they always tend to bring out their best against their biggest rivals. The Mumbai franchise will also be aware that the Yellow Brigade have already beaten them once this season and will be determined to avenge that loss.

The Mumbai Indians will face the Orange Army once again on April 23. This time, the match will take place on Sunrisers' home turf, which has been a batting paradise in recent games. At this stage of the tournament, every match is crucial for the Mumbai franchise — especially against Hyderabad, who share similar challenges this season and will also be looking to bring their A-game.
