Punjab School Board (PSEB) may soon release the result of the 10th board examination. Last year the 10th results were released on 18 April 2024, so it is believed that this time also the results can be announced around the same date. When the result is released, it can be seen on the official website of Punjab School Board . Students appearing for Punjab 10th board examination can check their results on DigiLocker apart from the website.
Punjab 5th Board Result Released
The Punjab government released the results of the 5th board examination on Tuesday. A total of 3,00,575 students appeared in this examination, out of which 2,99,204 i.e. 99.54 percent of students have passed, while 1710 students have failed. 1,58,018 students appeared in the 5th board examination, out of which 1,57,206 students have been promoted, that is, the total passing percentage of boys is 99.48 percent. Similarly, a total of 1,42,481 girls appeared in the fifth board examination, out of which 1,41,844 girls passed, that is, their passing percentage is 99.55 percent.
The list of toppers has not been released.
At the same time, a total of 2927 students with special needs also appeared in this examination, out of which 2896 students passed the examination, that is, their total passing percentage is 98.94 percent. There were 1755 boys and 1169 girls in this. Out of a total of 1755 boys, 1741 have been promoted i.e. their total passing percentage is 99.20 percent, while out of a total of 1169 girls, 1153 have passed i.e. their total passing percentage is 98.63 percent. This year the list of toppers has not been released, because many students have scored 500/500 marks in class 5 results.
8th board result has also been released
Punjab Board Class 8 results were declared on April 4. A total of 2,90,471 students appeared in this examination, out of which 2,82,627 students passed. In this, the passing percentage of boys was 96.49 percent and the passing percentage of girls was 98.19 percent. Puneet Verma topped this examination, while Navjot Kaur was in second place. As per the rules of the Punjab School Education Board, younger candidates are given higher rank in merit if they obtain the same marks.
