Woman says VIP football suite is 'new bottomless brunch' - but some fans aren't happy

A woman is insisting people try out a VIP experience at football club after she hailed it as her "new bottomless brunch" spot - but people point out one huge problem.

Paige Benattar went to Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium last weekend as she watched the Spurs' 3-1 win over Brentford. The content creator, better known as @travelsbypaige on TikTok, was able to get to the stadium three hours before the game thanks to her ticket to one of the luxury suites. The expensive pass comes with a number of luxury perks to enjoy.

"One you have a premium experience there is no going back," she insisted after sitting in one of the club's 'Sideline Suites' - priced at £13,050 per season.

Paige enjoyed a three-course meal, a great view of the match, meet and greet with players, and a complimentary bar. "This football experience may just be my new go-to bottomless brunch," the travel and food blogger said in a video.

Paige, who admitted she doesn't know football well and was invited to enjoy the suite, added: "I literally had the best time. We also got to meet some Spurs legends as part of the experience which was so fun. Let me tell you, this experience was like a luxurious bottomless brunch."

"Perfect for foodies, couples, groups and football lovers," the London resident added. In her video, Paige clarified: "This is not saying the prices are the same as a bottomless brunch as it is not - but think luxury, premium drinks and food, amazing views and more."

Many people were impressed by the experience - and hoped to try it out for themselves. "Love this," said one. Another fan commented: "Great idea! Something for everyone in football!" "Love this video, looks great," added a third.

However, others appeared annoyed by Paige's reaction - and pointed out the reality of being able to afford a VIP pass. One said: "What happened to a pint and a pie? Game's completely gone." Another added: "Seeing as bottomless brunches are about £30 and that is £350, I'm gonna say no, it probably isn't."

"£400 in Tottenham - not sure how many women would consider that price the new bottomless brunch," wrote another. A long time fan commented: "I used to pay 20p to get into the Spurs. And in those days we used to win trophies. Football today is crazy." "This is absolutely everything that is wrong with football," one furious individual added.

Paige said that prices vary, depending on which game you go to see and which stadium you visit. She said you can generally expect to get suite access for a minimum of £300 per person.
