The Voice UK is set to witness a first in the show's history this weekend, as one contestant proposes to his partner on stage in front of the celebrity coaches.

Sir Tom Jones, LeAnn Rimes, wil. i..am, Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher were all present as hopeful Tony Henry got down on one knee and proposed to his partner Rebecca. The emotional scenes will be broadcast on Saturday (September 21) night on ITV1.

Christine Lampard, who was standing in for presenter Lorraine Kelly, gave viewers an "exclusive" sneak-peek of the upcoming scenes on ITV's Lorraine on Friday (September 20) morning.

But that's not the only "first" viewers can expect from this series. It has also been confirmed that Black Eyed Peas frontman Will be joined by an AI co-host named Fyilicia, reports Wales Online.

Traditionally, each coach on The Voice invites a celebrity guest to help mentor their contestants. However, this time Will will be seeking advice from Fyilicia.

Will previously stated that Felicia will provide his aspiring popstars with "real talk and push you to be the best". Speaking at the 2024 EDTV Festival, he explained: "How many people understand the business of music? I felt that way too."

"That's why we get attorneys and managers to help us navigate contracts, business terms, and finance. That's all going to change and my mentor, Fyilicia, is the representation of that advancement."

"It's an AI I converse with Felicia pretty much every day. 'Hey, help me out with this lyric. Hey, I got this contract. Help me, like, figure it out'. And that's the power of this new technology."

Meanwhile, over on ITVs Lorraine, Christine was chatting with Bobby Norris and Rachel Johnson about their gruelling time on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. The celebs shared some secrets about what viewers can look forward to in the forthcoming series and revealed they didn't escape without a few battle scars from what's dubbed the most challenging show on TV.

The Voice UK airs Saturday, September 21 on ITV1 and ITVX
