'Neighbour demanded I move car from my own driveway – her reason left me speechless'

While most of us would like to get on well with our neighbours, some particularly testing people make it tricky.

It's not necessary to be best friends with the folks next door, but it's polite to exchange a simple greeting or a wave. You might even go the extra mile by taking in their deliveries or lending them some bags if they're caught short.

But occasionally, luck isn't on your side, and you end up rubbing shoulders with the . From blasting music at all hours to parking in inconsiderate places, there are a number of things the people on your street can do to get in your bad books.

One woman, Nicole Turner Bell, has taken to to vent about her own "neighbours from hell" saga. She reached the end of her tether after another resident on her street had the cheek to tell her to .

To add insult to injury, this brazen neighbour even had the audacity to suggest she should pack up and leave her home because someone else was ready to purchase her property. In her video, Nicole recounts how she was left seething when her neighbour gave her a ludicrous reason for why she should move her vehicle.

She said: "My neighbour asked me to move my car because it's 'not in keeping with the street.' She came round to my house last night and had a massive go at me. I came back from the supermarket today, and I thought, 'Oh, she's coming over to apologise.'

"But no, she came over to tell me that if we are struggling, then she does know someone who wants to buy our house. The only inkling she's got that we're struggling is from the car that I drive."

The woman went on to explain that she paid just £200 for her car, which she then showed on camera. The vehicle in question is a Kia Sorento, which Nicole said she purchased when her husband's job change meant they needed to switch cars.

She continued: "I didn't want to pay car payments anymore so I bought her for £200. Honestly, it's such a bargain. It did smell like an old man at first, but now I've got air fresheners, and she's absolutely fine. It cost me £200 and cost me £300 to insure. I've had it since June now, and I've had no issues at all. Monthly car payments just aren't for me anymore."

Nicole then explained her neighbour's latest outburst over her affordable car is just the "tip of the iceberg," as the other woman is always complaining about how they run their household.

"She moans if we don't water our plants enough," she explained, "She doesn't like the fact that we have astroturf in our garden for the kids because she wants it to be real grass. She doesn't like the kids playing out on the street because she said they should be playing in their own gardens. God forbid one of the kids leaves a bike or scooter out. She also doesn't like us leaving any bikes or scooters in our garden, she wants them in the shed because it's not in keeping with the area."

Commenters on Nicole's video were gobsmacked by her neighbour's "cheek". Many pointed out that the car she drives is perfectly fine and doesn't look as old and tatty as they had expected for the £200 price tag. Others suggested ways to get "petty" revenge on the neighbour, especially with around the corner.

One person said: "My level of petty would be through the roof. I'm thinking the tackiest of tacky Christmas decs in the garden, from now on, park the car on the road instead and chalk hopscotch and drawings all over the driveway."

Another added: "Print up a list of hobbies and pastimes to give her and suggest her time would be better spent indulging in one of them. Don't be as snotty as I'd be tempted to be, though. Maybe gentle parent her into it."
