is switching up its menu again next week - with four brand new items and the return of fan favourites, including the McRib.
The chain is introducing new Cheese Bites, alongside new Toasted Marshmallow Latte and Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate drinks, while breakfast fans will also be able to tuck into new Mini Hash Browns. The Cheese Bites contain Mozzarella and Emmental in a smoky caramelised onion flavoured breadcrumb coating, served with BBQ Dip. You can either buy these in a box with five Cheese Bites for £2.49 or a sharebox of 15 for £6.79.
Maccies fans can also warm up with the new Toasted Marshmallow Latte, which is described as a smooth latte blended with toasted marshmallow flavoured syrup, topped with whipped cream and a toasted marshmallow flavoured dusting. This is priced at £2.59, or the Toasted Marshmallow Hot Chocolate equivalent costs £2.19.
If you’re into McDonald’s breakfast, you’ll also find the Mini Hash Browns on the new menu, priced at £1.49 for five pieces, or a sharebox of 15 pieces will cost £2.99. You’ll find all these new additions when McDonald’s changes its menu next week on October 16.
If that wasn't enough, joining these new items will be some returning fan favourites. The first item making a grand return is the McCrispy Deluxe, which contains a chicken breast fillet in a crispy, crunchy coating topped with hot and spicy mayo, caramelised onion compote, seasonal lettuce, bacon, red onions and a cheddar cheese slice, packed into a sourdough style bun. This costs £5.99 for the burger on its own, or £7.79 for a medium meal.
Then for dessert, Maccies fans will be able to tuck into Halloween M&M’s McFlurry, which is ice cream swirled with M&S's and Halloween sugar shapes, topped off with Galaxy chocolate sauce, or the Galaxy Caramel McFlurry, which is packed with Galaxy Chocolate Pieces and Galaxy Caramel sauce. Each one is priced at £2.19 or £1.59 for a mini version.
The Toffee Apple Pie is also being welcomed back to the menu. If you've yet to try it, this consists of a crispy pastry filled with a spiced apple compote, toffee sauce and toffee pieces. This costs £1.99. Do keep in mind that McDonald's menu prices do vary depending on your location.
Of course, McDonald's has also previously announced that its iconic sandwich will be making a return on October 16 - following an almost ten year absence. The McRib contains a boneless pork patty, which is shaped like ribs and covered in BBQ sauce, with onions, pickles, and a toasted bun. It was first launched in 1981 but was discontinued four years later, although it has returned several times since then. In the UK, the McRib was last on sale in 2015 - and fans have regularly called for it to come back ever since.
