Elizabeth Olsen has revealed she suffers from terrifying dreams in which she is killed.

The 35-year-old actress, who tied the knot with Robbie Arnett, 32, in a secret ceremony in 2019, confessed that she often finds herself in "darkness" during her sleep due to nightmares where she dies. She said: "I've died in a lot of dreams. I've been shot in the head and killed. And it's like, now I have cold blood rushing down my head, and it's darkness."

The 'His Three Daughters' star, also known as the sister of former actresses Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, admitted feeling a sense of "calm" when she steps foot in the UK, away from her home country. When in the US, she constantly fears violence due to the relaxed gun laws.

She expressed to The Observer: "I got in [to central London] last night and this morning, the immediate moment I stepped outside and had a coffee, I'm just calmed. We're always worried about random acts of violence in the United States without even really processing that. And I know there's violence everywhere, not everywhere is perfect, and there are certainly things to be angry about and to be scared of, but there's just a calm I feel here."

The 'WandaVision' actress has battled anxiety in the past and has strived to find "some control" over how she manages it. She confessed: "'I've gone through phases of [anxiety]. No one talked panic attacks in the mid-2000s. I thought it meant you just write a list and check things off and get over it. I didn't realise it was something you had no control over, but I had to figure out how to have some control."

Elizabeth is the younger sister of iconic twins Mary-Kate and Ashley. She recently had to debunk the wild theory her sisters are the same person. Elizabeth was and hooked up to a lie-detector test when she was asked: “[British comedian} John Oliver claims your sister, Mary-Kate and Ashley, are just one person moving incredibly fast. Is he correct?”

Elizabeth then answered: “No.” The interviewer then pushed the star to prove her siblings were real, and she said: “They’re twins. My mom gave birth to both of them, C-section style. And there are lots of photos since forever that proves there’s two of them in these photographs.

“And I think the photos would prove that. You know, when you capture a photo with babies in different places and stuff.” She was then asked: “What about Photoshop?” But Elizabeth replied: “There’s yeah, not then, really. Not in the 80s.” Throughout the line of questioning about her sisters, the lie-detector test did not go off – confirming her side of the story was accurate.
