Kyle Walker and Annie Kilner's rocky romance timeline - 'blazing rows' to 'shock divorce papers'

and have had a rollercoaster relationship - and now it looks like it has finally come to an end.

The mother-of-four has and is allegedly gearing up to fight for half of the City ace's £27million fortune. It comes after the England defender fathered two children with influencer behind Annie's back during "brief flings".

Only recently, there were reports of Kyle, 34, and Annie, 32, rekindling their marriage for the sake of their young children, with the footballer taking his teen sweetheart away on a in June. But it seems his efforts weren't enough to make up for his wild wrongdoings.

A source told : "Kyle was stunned when he got the papers. He's spoken to Annie about them and they are discussing the next steps. This doesn't necessarily mean they will divorce. She wants Kyle to know she's not messing about. But if this is a bluff, it may well back-fire."

Annie and Kyle first separated after when Lauryn confirmed the bombshell news that he was the father to her one-year-old daughter, Kinara. Annie reportedly kicked Kyle out of the family home in Cheshire. She then went on to give birth to their son, baby Rezon.

Kyle was said to have been by her side during the newborn's birth. The former couple also have three sons, Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five. Their love story began some 15 years ago and they appear to have weathered many ups and downs, with the City star embroiled in several scandals over the years.

Kyle and Annie first met in their hometown of Sheffield when she was 15 and he was 17. She previously revealed: "When we started going out it was love at first sight." But Kyle has been accused of infidelity multiple times over the years.

In April 2019, he and Annie split up after Ex On The Beach Star Laura Brown claimed the pair had romped in the back of his car. When Annie demanded proof, Laura is said to have sent a selfie she had taken inside their family home.

Kyle begged Annie to take him back, but by July, he had an alleged brief fling with model Lauryn and got her pregnant. Kyle and Annie's youngest son was one year old at the time. Annie sadly revealed she had a miscarriage in 2020, and three months later, she discovered Lauryn was expecting Kyle's child.

Annie described what Kyle had done as 'obscene'. In 2020, she said: "In late March last year he was unfaithful with a reality TV star. I found out a month later and was broken by it. He begged me to take him back but by July he was at it again. Not even three months later and someone was pregnant. My youngest was one. Who does that?"

Heartbroken Annie told at the time: "I don't know what my thoughts or feelings are any more. I feel dead inside." Lauryn welcomed baby boy Kairo into the , meanwhile, Annie took Kyle back and the couple got married in November 2021.

The footballer allegedly continued to see Lauryn behind her back and Lauryn later claimed she and Kyle rekindled their fling after meeting for legal reasons to discuss their son. In August 2023, Lauryn gave birth to a daughter with 'another footballer' and did not publicly disclose her second child's name, other than hinting the initials are KW.

In an interview with in January, Lauryn said that Kyle is the father and told of the exact moment she showed Annie a DNA test to prove it. She said the two women agreed to meet on a FaceTime call the day after Day, while Kyle was playing away with Man City.

Speaking on the scandal for the first time, Lauryn said: "Kyle was happy hiding the truth because he was having two families and was scared about what would happen when Annie knew but I kept saying to him, 'Our daughter can't be a secret, she is a human'.

"I didn't want them to split up or cause harm but it had to be out in the open for all of our sakes." She said she showed Annie pictures of Kyle with their two children.

In an interview with, Kyle admitted to his fathering secret: "What I've done is horrible and I take full responsibility. I made idiot choices and idiot decisions. I can't begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through. I've tried to ask her but there's pain and hurt. The man that's meant to love, care and be there for her, did this."

He said he wanted to 'curl up into a ball' when his relationship with Lauryn came to light. Talking of his regret, he added: "When I met Annie at 17, I never envisaged my private life being like this. I never thought I would be a father of six."

This summer, it was reported Kyle was living in a penthouse flat in Manchester city centre, after a string of 'blazing rows'. A source told : "We don't see much of Kyle since she threw him out at the end of August. And one time after that they argued over the driveway security fence. He was trying to get back into his house but she wouldn't let him as she blocked and barricaded the driveway. She was really angry with him and called him all sorts of names."

Annie then announced the split on social media. She told her followers: "I am posting this in response to growing recent media enquiries about my marriage to Kyle and in an effort to protect my family against the intensity of the media spotlight. Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together; I have decided to take some time away from Kyle."

She added: "I do not wish to comment on the position any further. For now, I ask that the privacy of myself and our three young children is respected during this difficult time."

In a statement shared to his page, Kyle broke his silence regarding the split and wrote: "Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I've caused her. She's been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children. I would ask for privacy for all of our family, and especially our young children, whilst we work through these difficult times."

The couple were then said to be rekindling their marriage for the sake of their children, having one final shot. Earlier this month, a spokeswoman for Kyle and Annie told The : "Annie and Kyle are living together, working through theirs and trying to establish a new routine. They are both open to conversations around financial security for Annie and the boys and will always protect the children under any circumstance."
